Missions

The Lord Jesus Christ, came into the world to save lost people (Luke 19:10; I Tim. 1:15). The church of Christ shares the same mission to seek and save the lost, which is recorded in Matt. 28:19-20 and Mark 16:15-16. The East Huntsville congregation works towards this mission by supporting faithful missionaries within the United States and throughout the world and also through local evangelism.

Some of the missions that the East Huntsville congregation supports are:

• Crisis Evangelism
• Getting to Know Your Bible Television Show with Billy Lambert via the Summerdale Church of Christ in Summerdale, AL
• Demar Elam via the Adairsville Church of Christ in Adairsville, GA
• The World Video Bible School in Maxwell, TX

Benevolence

The mission of the church is also to be compassionate toward those in need. It is to care for the widows and orphans (James 1:27), and as opportunity presents itself to do good to all men and especially to those who are Christians (Gal. 6:10). The East Huntsville congregation strives to help those in need with every opportunity that it is presented with.
